The RNs and other staff positions are close to the physicians, which provides a very collaborative work environment. The unit sees all adult cases that have a scope required. The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for identifying and securing instrumentation and equipment neededfor invasive procedures and demonstrating proficient use and implementation of the same.
