CYSTOSCOPY TECHNICIAN

That’s why we want to meet you to help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly Nursing - Cystoscopy Unit to improve the patient experience, operational processes, and positive patient outcomes for our diverse community.

What you will do:

To be succeed in this role, you should be meticulous with strong attention to details to perform various pre-and-post technical and supportive functions to assist with patient care in our Nursing - Cystoscopy Unit.  Responsibilities:

• Admit and prepare suits/patients for their procedure
• Assist physicians and RNs in daily endoscopic procedures
• Perform safety checks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment/instruments
• Order supplies and take inventory of cystoscopes and accessories to maintain par levels
• Participate in in-service training to validate and refresh basic skills

You are the ideal candidate for this position if you:

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Have completed a Surgical Technician Program
• Are BCLS certified with prior experience performing Cystoscopy Tech tasks
• Know basic math and can communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
