The Medical Technologist serves as a generalist at the Salisbury VA Medical Center and have the responsibility for performing procedures in the areas of Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Urinalysis, Serology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Send Outs/Reference Lab. The generalist medical technologist rotates with other generalists on a regular basis to other areas within the lab. Applicants pending the completion of educational, or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
