The Nursing Assistant (NA) is a member of the Acute Care Team, providing assistance to the physician, nurse manager, registered nurse, and other team members during diagnostic examinations or medical treatment procedures as part of the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Nursing Assistants are involved in a variety of personal care, nursing care, or related procedures that do not require the knowledge and skills represented by the licensure of practical nurses. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
