Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Patient Safety Technician for Nursing Resources at Newton Medical Center, to work 7am - 3pm, including every other weekend.Responsibilities Essential Functions/Responsibilities:To provide one to one observation for patients that are of high risk for self-harm.Responsible for assisting the patient to the bathroom, meals, and maintaining a safe environment.Required to stay in the room with the patient and be within an arm's reach of the patient in the event of an emergency.Document on a flow sheet their observation time.Communicate with nursing team and maintain patient video monitoring screenQualifications Minimum Education:High school
