Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Secretary/Technician on Deskovick 3- Spine Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work 3PM-11PM including every other weekend.
Answering phones and call bells
Organizing the medical records
Greeting visitors and physicians
Organizing the unit with forms and office supplies
Assisting physicians and staff with electronic order entry
Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing and feeding
Measuring and recording vital signs
Administering basic treatments
Helping to ensure a safe care environment
Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
Good communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have positive customer service skills
High School diploma or GED required
Previous Unit Rep or Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred
Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician experience preferred
Excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills
Reliable and dependable
Strong interpersonal skills with a strong desire/ability to work in a team environment
Computer literacy skills
