Serve as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Â Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating two or more functional roles of the patient care plan of which may include the following: Nurse Technician, Unit Secretary, EKG Technician, and Monitor Technician. Â Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Education X High school diploma or equivalent X Required

Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Skills Licensure and Certifications: Must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a C.N.A., Medical Assistant, or be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing with successful completion of “Fundamentals of Nursing� or EMT certification.
Basic Life Support required
Certified EKG Technician (CET) preferred

Minimum Work Experience One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred
