Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Monitor Technician for 2 West/ 2 Hussey at Newton Medical Center, to work varied shift including 2 weekend shift per scheduling. Responsibilities Essential Function/Responsibilities:Assigns an available telemetry number to patient, as ordered.Clears memory and adjusts alarm parameters and arrhythmic functions in collaboration with the assigned nurse.Labels the monitor holder with the patient name, room number and physician.Maintains a log sheet noting patient name, room number, date telemetry applied and date telemetry discontinued.Requests nurse to check lead placement if it is in question.Builds sample strip on patient in patient history; runs an admission
