As the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Supervisor, you will utilize your solid leadership skills and insight to support, coordinate and lead a collaborative team. Your distinct knowledge will ensure that we continually maintain excellence in quality and patient safety.
Coordination and management of the instrument computer tracking system (SPM): Makes changes to count sheets to assure accuracy, add new count sheets, add new instruments/sets
Monitor SPD staff compliance to Salem Health and regulatory standards (IAHCSMM, TJC, OSHA, CDC, FDA, AAMI, AORN, etc.).
Monitor sterilization processes, practice and records.
Serves as an Infection Control liaison.
Develop schedule for staff assigned shifts and daily assignments.

Background/Expertise:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years SPD Tech experience. SPD Lead Experience preferred.
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required. Certified Instrument Technician (CIT) preferred. Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) preferred.
Knowledge of Sterile Processing operations and instrument handling.
