Medical Instrument Technician (Electroencephalography)
The technician will provide a full range of duties for EEG (Electroencephalography) section of the Neurodiagnostic Department as well as for the EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) located in the Epilepsy Center of Excellence (ECoE) at the New Mexico VA Healthcare System (NMVAHCS) in Albuquerque, New Mexico (VISN 22). In addition, it is preferred that the technician also perform duties in the NCS/EMG (Electromyography) section. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
