Shift: Days (Thursday 12p-8:30p/Friday 12p-8:30p/Saturday 7a-3:30p)

Location: AdventHealth Daytona

 

 

The role you’ll contribute:

2/28/22  Performs Radiographic imaging procedures.  Positions, moves, and assists patients. Performs clerical duties. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Responsibility to adhere to the AdventHealth’s Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.

 

The value you’ll bring to the team:

·       Performs Radiographic imaging procedures.

·       Cross train into CT, MRI or Mammography as needed.

·       Positions patient and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards, in a safe, timely manner. 

·       Processes radiographs, with correct patient demographic and examination information. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·       One year experience preferably in radiology or a new graduate of accredited radiologic technology program. 

·       Experience required before working unattended or high volume shifts without supervision.

·       Following orientation of one month, technologist should be able to work independently with supervisor or other workers available for assistance. 

·       Within three months technologist should be able to work independent shift and participate in standby call

 

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

·       Current ARRT certification Florida license in Radiography required.  

·       BLS required.
