About the Role As a Sterile Processing Technician, you’ll be instrumental in creating a safe environment for patients and staff by ensuring that each tool, instrument and piece of equipment meets the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality. Your work directly supports our surgical teams in delivering precise, effective care.
A Day in the Life: In this role, you’ll:
Prepare and assemble case carts for a wide range of surgical procedures, making sure every instrument is in place to support smooth, efficient operations.
Handle the sterilization process with meticulous care, using your knowledge of disinfectants, sterilizers and safety protocols to maintain top-notch cleanliness.
Stay organized and proactive, prioritizing high-need items and maintaining an orderly workspace that sets the team up for success.
Identify and resolve potential safety hazards, contributing to a safe and secure environment for all.
Work side-by-side with the surgical team to ensure that equipment is ready when they need it, playing a critical role in positive patient outcomes.
Mentor new team members, sharing your expertise and helping to build a knowledgeable, supportive team that’s committed to quality care.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
A current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) certification.
