Description:
Under direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia professional or Anesthesia Technologist: assists the anesthesiologist and/or anesthetist in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. Adheres to Universal Precautions in all clinical areas. Provides support to routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparations and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems, before, during and after anesthesia. Estimated pay range for this position starts at $17.53 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees:
High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications:
Basic Life Support.
Additional Qualifications:
Hospital experience as an anesthesia technician.
Experience as an EMT paramedic desired.
Knowledge in ACLS desirable.
Knowledge in PALS desirable for BHM, HH, MASC.
Minimum Required Experience: 6+ months in a clinical setting as anesthesia tech
