What You?ll Do
Perform high-quality MRI procedures (including routine and advanced imaging) according to established protocols and physician orders.
Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles to ensure comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the procedure.
Prepare and position patients accurately, adjust equipment controls, and follow all safety and infection-control standards.
Maintain MRI equipment and work area cleanliness; assist engineers and physicists in maintaining optimal performance.
Ensure MRI safety by screening all patients and visitors according to approved policies.
Collaborate with Radiologists, nursing staff, and imaging team members to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records for interpretation.

Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Certification/Licensure:
Certified by one of the following:
ARRT (MR) - Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or
ARRT (R) - Radiography, or
ARMRIT - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
Must hold a current Texas Medical Board (TMB) License as a Medical Radiologic Technologist
Experience: Less than one year required; one year of MRI experience preferred
